The Kingsport Higher Education Center
The Kingsport Center for Higher Education is a $12 million, 54,000-square-foot facility slated to open in fall 2009. The facility will be administered by Northeast State Community College and combine the resources of Carson-Newman College, King College, Lincoln Memorial University, Northeast State, and the University of Tennessee under one roof. Students will be able to earn selected baccalaureate and graduate degrees from participating colleges and universities as well as associate degrees from Northeast State.
